Terms of Service
Effective date: 2026-06-22
These Terms govern your use of BNOD ("the Service"). By installing or using BNOD, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Service.
The service
BNOD is a Chrome extension that records, builds, schedules, and runs browser workflows in your own browser. AI features are optional and use providers you connect with your own credentials.
As-is, no warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", with all faults and without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or fit for any particular purpose. You use the Service at your own risk.
Your responsibilities
You are solely responsible for what your workflows do. That includes:
- Compliance with the sites you automate. You must follow the terms of service, acceptable-use policies, and
robots.txtrules of every site your workflows touch. Some sites prohibit automation; respecting those rules is your job, not ours. - Compliance with applicable laws. Including data-protection laws (such as GDPR), anti-spam laws, consumer-protection laws, and any law that applies where you operate.
- The credentials you provide. API keys, OAuth tokens, cookies, and any other credentials you load into BNOD are yours and remain your responsibility. Do not load credentials you are not authorized to use.
- The output of your workflows. Including data your workflows scrape, store, or transmit.
Prohibited uses
You may not use BNOD to:
- Send spam or unsolicited bulk messages.
- Carry out denial-of-service attacks or any action intended to disrupt a service.
- Harvest personal data without a lawful basis, including scraping personal data in violation of applicable privacy laws.
- Bypass security controls, paywalls, or access restrictions on any system you do not own or have explicit permission to access.
- Automate activity that violates the terms of service of the target site.
- Engage in fraud, impersonation, or any activity that is illegal in your jurisdiction or the jurisdiction where the target site operates.
- Build tools that themselves perform any of the above.
If we become aware that you are using BNOD for prohibited purposes, we may suspend or terminate your account.
Intellectual property
- Your workflows are yours. You retain all rights to the workflows, recordings, templates, prompts, and other content you create with BNOD. We claim no ownership over your content.
- The Service is ours. The BNOD extension, its source code, designs, trademarks, and branding remain the property of BNOD and its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of that to you.
- Open-source components. BNOD ships with third-party open-source libraries under their own licenses; those licenses are listed in the extension and apply to the corresponding components.
Third-party services
BNOD integrates with third-party services (Google Sign-In, Convex, PostHog, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, and OpenAI ChatGPT Plus). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or behavior.
If you use AI features, the prompts and tool calls your workflows send go directly from your browser to the provider you chose. We do not see them and we are not responsible for what those providers do with that data — read their terms.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
- Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to USD $50, or, if greater, the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (such as liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct under some jurisdictions).
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BNOD and its operators from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or any law.
Termination
You can stop using BNOD at any time by uninstalling the extension. You can delete your account from Settings or by emailing support@bnod.app.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if continued operation becomes infeasible. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.
Changes
We may update these Terms. The updated version takes effect when we post it at this URL and update the effective date above. Material changes will be announced in the extension's release notes. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of JURISDICTION, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
